FAQ'sQ:  How much does it cost to build an outdoor kitchen or an outdoor fireplace in my back yard patio?

Q:  How soon after my new fireplace has been completed, is it safe to light a fire and enjoy my fireplace?

A:  Once the installation of your fireplace has been completed, we recommend not lighting it for a minimum of 30 days from completion date.  This will ensure the materials and mortar have completely and properly cured.  After 30 days, you should start with a small fire and build up as time progresses.  This is true for both indoor and outdoor fireplaces.

Q:  How can you make new brick on my home look aged?

A:  Some people prefer to not have the look of brand new brick on their home, whether it’s new construction or a remodel.  They may want the brick to look aged, as if the brick has been there for a while.  In most cases, a mortar wash or a slurry finish will provide the brick with an aged appearance.
